- Book Orders: I will send book orders home
at the beginning of every month. Orders will be due on the 20th of
every month.
- Children are encouraged to bring water
bottles, backpacks, or folders to carry study materials and important
papers home from that day.
- If you've any questions or concerns, I ask
that you please send a note with your child, E-mail (Ghurlbur@twcny.rr.com)
me or call the school offices and leave a message so I can get back to
you after class time. If it is VERY important call me at home
(297-2774).

School day begins at 8:30. Please call the office
if your child will be late or absent (518) 298-3372.
Snack will be ~10 daily.
Lunch-from 11:45 until 12:05
Recess from 12:05 until 12:30
Dismissal at 2:30
Daily Reading, Spelling, Language Arts, &
Math will be in the morning and Religion, Science & Social Studies
will be after lunch.

Homework consists of Reading, Language, & Math. Short assignments will
be sent home Mon - Thurs. The homework is mandatory & must be complete
each evening to be returned, reviewed, & corrected the following
morning.
A spelling list for the weekly test will be included in the folder.
Please have your child study every evening as a pretest will be given on
Thurs. The test will be given again on Friday for those who did not
get a 100 on the pretest.
Work should take 30-40 minutes to finish. Please monitor the
assignments & put a parent signature on the completed homework.
